Joseph A. Malfeo, ChFC(R), CFP(R) is President and Chief Investment Officer of Command Capital. 
He began his financial management career in 1998 with Prudential as an investment adviser representative for Prudential Financial Planning Services. There Mr. Malfeo was awarded with membership to the Masters Conference Table for his work in account production and client service, one of the company's highest honors.

Mr. Malfeo graduated cum laude from DePaul University, earning a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Finance. He is a graduate of Duke University's Executive Certificate in Financial Planning Program and The American College of Financial Services Chartered Financial Consultant Certification. Mr. Malfeo currently holds or has held the following FINRA and NFA qualifications: Series 3, Series 6, Series 30, Series 31, Series 63 and Series 65.  He is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNERTM  practitioner, Chartered Financial Consultant(R) and holds licenses in Illinois and North Carolina for: life, health, property & casualty coverages.

In 2002, Mr. Malfeo left Prudential and transitioned his client book to Diversified Financial Concepts, a wholly owned subsidiary of Woodbury Financial Services where he specialized in financial planning programs for individuals and small businesses. In August of 2002, he qualified for membership at The Chicago Board of Trade (CBOT) and received his floor trader and floor broker designations from the National Futures Association (NFA).  In doing so, Mr. Malfeo began executing trades on behalf of his clients, large institutions and high net worth individuals. In 2007 Command Capital Management was formed in order to better serve a growing list of advisory clients in the areas of traditional financial planning. 

Certified Financial Planner Board of Standards Inc. owns the certification marks CFP(R), CERTIFIED FINANCIAL  PLANNERTM and CFP(R) in the U.S., which it awards to individuals  who successfully complete CFP Board's initial and ongoing certification requirements.

The ChFC(R) program prepares professionals to help meet the advanced financial needs of individuals, families and small-business owners.  ChFCs can identify and establish specific goals and then formulate, implement and monitor a comprehensive plan to help achieve long term objectives.  Individuals who earn a ChFC(R) can provide professional advice on a broad array of financial topics including fianancial planning, wealth accumulation and estate planning, income taxation, divorce planning, life and health insurances, business taxtion and planning, investments and retirement planning.
